Boho Indigo Product Medley

I love the color blue and when I saw the Boho Indigo Product Medley in the catalogue I knew I had to create with it. The paper is gorgeous with beautiful patterns that can be used for many different types of projects. This medley seems a bit pricey when you first look at the price but in fact you get a lot of product in the medley. Let's take a look at what is included with the medley:

You will get 6x6 paper including 48 sheets patterned paper, plus very vanilla embossed paper, vellum flowers, two rolls of ribbon, stamp set, dies, plus die cuts for $95.00. There is also an option to get a refill kit.

The catalogue also has some great ideas that you can recreate using the medley including memory keeping ideas.

I decided to sign up for my teams card swap this year and I had no idea what I should do for the card. I really liked the product medley Boho Indigo and was inspired to make some cute thank you cards for customers. I decided to make a my thank you cards using Bumble Bee because blue and yellow is a beautiful combo. You can see the version I made
below.

For my card swap I decided to make a brighter version using Magenta Madness mixed in with some bumble bee and Night of Navy.
Let's make this card.
Supplies:
  • Whisper white card base at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
  • Whisper white card front cut at 4 x 5 1/4
  • scissors
  • Boho Indigo pattern paper cut at 2 inches
  • Magenta Madness in color pattern paper cut at 1/2 inch
  • whisper white scrap paper for die cutting
  • bumble bee cardstock for die cutting
  • night of navy, magenta madness, bumble bee, and crumb cake ink pads
  • in color enamel dots
  • aqua painter and stamping block
  • stampin dimensional, liquid adhesive
Instructions:
  1. Take your card front measuring 4 x 5 1/4 and splatter all over it. I will be doing another post on how to properly execute this technique. I used night of navy, bumble bee, and magenta madness on the card. Set it aside to dry.
  2. Now lets do our stamping using our ink pads. You will need to stamp a trio of flowers in magenta madness, the largest vase in crumb cake, one vase in bumble bee and one in night of navy.
  3. You can then die cut those stamped images out using the dies in the product medley. Also die cut some greenery in bumble cardstock.
  4. Your card front should be dry now and you can start attaching your pieces. Lets start by attaching the pattern paper to the card front using your favorite adhesive. Then take the filigree image and stamp just above the 1/2 inch pattern paper. Stamp all the way down.
  5. Before I start attaching the vases down I try to see what looks best so I can stamp the night of navy greenery for the crumb cake vase.
  6. You can now start adding the vases using stampin dimensional to give them some height. The night of navy vase has die cut greenery coming out. I attached the greenery to the vase before I placed it on the card. Add the trio of flowers with dimensionals to the front bumble bee vase.
  7. Now you can embellish it with the in color enamel dots or ribbon. Add your sentiment and decorate the inside of your card plus the envelope.
Here is a detailed image from the cards:
